Peridot is a crisp apple green color that can lean more to yellowish green to olive green. Romans believed the gemstone helped dreams become reality. It was referred to as the ‘Evening Emerald’ becaus the color didn’t fade in the lamplight, leading the way for the belief that it also drove away evil spirits. Peridot is also the traditional 16th Anniversary Gemstone.
